Now that the holiday season has come and gone it is time to get everything in order and return to regular daily life. I have already begun attempting to wake up at a normal hour to prepare for my 6am mornings as I have been informed that 1pm is not a proper time to wake up. Monday sees the start of my final semester of school as well as the tedious task of applying to internships for the spring. Add to that work, events and play and I am finally starting to feel real life come back to me. Oddly enough I am not a huge fan of having an excess of down time and I like having a busy life as long as I still have time to fit in the people that I care about.  I am particularly excited to get back to blogging regularly again. This fall has been busy and blogging as been thrown on the back burner especially during the holidays. Alas, over the last week I have plotted out some fun things that I extend to implement over the next month so keep your eyes out and as always I love hearing your suggestions and comments so keep them coming. xx Alexandra  BlogLovin’   :     Twitter    :    Instagram

I have had a few people message me about these shorts I have worn in photos I have tweeted asking where I got them. The answer? My dads closet- sort of. I took a pair of my dads old jeans, cut the legs off, cuffed them and took them in. It was my first time reconstructing any piece of clothing and it worked out pretty well, they sit high and look good cinched with a thin belt.

I miss summery sundresses and long summer days so much. You always want what you cannot have though right? Whenever July rolls around I begin to crave heavy knits, wooly headbands and black leather handbags, but catch me in February and I am dying for some sun. I think it just gets to that point where I have had enough of whatever weather is going on and the activities and wardrobe associated with whatever time of year it happens to be. All that is left to do is review my favourite collections from Paris Haute Couture week and I am going to put some yoga pants and a tee and hit the treadmill. I love it when I finally get days to just laze around because they do not happen often.  xx
