I was so excited when I received this black shirt in the mail last week from one of my favourite online retailers, Lulus.com. I wear collared shirts several times a week and I am always on the hunt for fun ones such as this black sheer shirt with a long back hem and shoulder cut outs. It drapes perfectly down my arms to feel feminine and it truly looks good with everything. Today when I woke up it was a tad chilly so I wore it to class with a pair of high waisted beige pleated trousers and but the time I arrived home it was so hot that I swapped the trousers for my favourite pair of tattered denim shorts. It is still available here if you were interested in purchasing it.
As you all know I have a slight obsession with sunglasses. I do not care what anyone says, you can never have to many pairs and I was happy to get this pair of baroque angular frames in the mail from Romwe.com. I highly encourage you all to click here to visit their website and browse through the sunglass section because they recently updated it with a ton of super fun styles.

This mint dress was sent to me from Lulus.com and even though it was far too short for my 6’ self to wear as a dress I still loved it. I have received a few dresses from them now and all have been long enough so if you are tall and love the dresses from Lulus then for sure order them, this was just a random case of mini dress being too mini. I fixed the problem by layering it over a skirt I bought from Costablanca probably 9 years ago now. I cannot wait to play around with this pretty piece. I paired it with these cute pointed toed tan pumps and bag that were gifted from Aldo and my favourite sunglasses from Marc by Marc Jacobs. I think I may look for a layered light skirt to put underneath when I go out shopping for plain black flats later today.
Speaking of which I hate looking for black flats. I have big feet and flats never look as cute as they would on someone with normal sized feet. I also dislike rounded toes and overly pointed ones and I like them to cut low on the toe so all of my pickiness makes it very difficult to find suitable ones. Wish me luck!

Class ended early today which is perfect because:
- I was up late last night watching Game of Thrones and had to wake up at 6am
- It got so warm and lovely out so who wants to be stuck in class?
When I arrived home I had a package from Lulus.com waiting for me which made coming home even better. I have always loved Lulus and it has become a daily visit every morning when I wake up to see what pretty new things they have in stock. This top was one of my favourite things I was sent and you better bet that I threw it on as fast as I could. I paired it with my current favourite skirt that seems to find its way onto my body at least once a week as of late. Anyways, if you live around the GTA I hope that you enioy the weather!
It is very similar to this sheer kimono style top worn in this previous post and many others (also from Lulus). I love these types of tops because in the spring and summer they are light and airy to throw over whatever you are wearing and instantly can make an outfit.
Wanted: I am completely in love with this simple shift dress from Lulus.com - a store that has quickly become a daily go to as of late.

I woke up in a great mood today. I have finally caught up with everything, the weather is showing signs of being normal for this time of the year and summer is right around the corner and is bringing great prospects all around. This kimono style shirt was gifted to me by Lulus.com back in December and because I live in Canada it was not able to be worn until now which has killed me. It is so light and lovely and manages to be the perfect length even on me (standing at 6’ tall many things do not hit where they should.) It should also be noted that I wore this with sheer black nylons and a coat while outside but for photo purposes they had to go.
By the way, this weekend I took up watching Mad Men and within two days I am already on episode 10. At this rate I will probably be all caught up by next Monday so I will let you know haha.

The queue has been loaded up with lots of inspirational goodies. All that is left to do is review my favourite collections from Paris Haute Couture week and I am going to put some yoga pants and a tee and hit the treadmill. I love it when I finally get days to just laze around because they do not happen often.
What I’m Loving: at Lulus.com
Late at night when I am procrastinating I peruse online stores and make wish lists of things I want and am thinking of purchasing. So I figure I might as well share them with you guys and make that time wasted semi productive!
Tonight I have been avoiding working on a massive presentation I have tomorrow at noon. I still have a mock up advertisement to draw as well as a power point that will end up being around 35 slides. I also have to do 3 write ups with what I have to say and have it memorized. Needless to say online window shopping is much more appealing at the moment.

A lovely lady sent me a few items from Lulus.com about a week ago and I have been meaning to make some posts about them. This kimono style shirt in particular has been an attention grabber. I can honestly say that I have worn it a few times now and have yet to not have at least one person ask where I got it. I love pieces like this one because I am a student and I fly out the door every morning and I throw on the first thing I see on my peg board. By throwing this over a simple outfit it makes it look much less simple very easily. I also cannot wait to throw it over a black body con dress or jean shorts in the summer as it just screams of long summer nights and outdoor concerts.
Ps. You may laugh but those shorts from Joe Fresh were $18 and I have gotten a lot of mileage out of them!
I need to buy me one of these YouCube square rings ($11) from Lulus.com
